You may not know this, but many years ago, I owned a small bakery café. I used to cater events and provide sweet delicacies to a slew of loyal customers. Sadly, I had to close the doors to my cute little café because I simply couldn’t afford to keep it open. My heart was broken, and my spirits crushed. I know what it’s like to say goodbye to a dream. I understand all too well the feeling of scrambling to make payroll—heck, even buy butter!

No one should feel pigeonholed into a day job because the cost of following a dream feels too expensive. Like you, I wanted to serve my community, but the realities of a brick-and-mortar business proved too daunting.
